Sightseeing Around the Sierra

One of the best ways to see the Lake Tahoe region and the surrounding mountains is from one of Palisades' three enclosed lifts. Palisades Tahoe has the unique position of having a Gondola, an Aerial Tram, and a Funitel, and you can ride all three of them when you visit us. Our Sightseeing Package gives you all-day UNLIMITED access to ride these three lifts as much as you want.

Nastar Race Course

Race against friends, family, and other skiers on Palisades' NASTAR racecourse located at the top of Shirley Lake Express on Jimmie Heuga Express Run. Participants will compete within their age and gender to win platinum, gold, silver, and bronze medals. Racers that are top-ranked in their group can qualify to compete in the 2023 NASTAR Championships.

Ice Skating

Enjoy all that Lake Tahoe has to offer in the winter. Visit one of our beautiful outdoor ice skating rinks surrounded by the California mountains. Whether you've never been on the ice or are a skating pro, the rink is fun for everyone. Bring your own or rent a pair of skates at any location.
