HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY RESERVATION?
Please email us at daytriptahoe@gmail.com to cancel or change your reservation. If it is more than 48 hours before the departure time of your trip, you can change your reservation to another date or cancel for a 97% refund. If it's less than 48 hours, you can cancel for a 50% refund or change your reservation to another date at no cost! If something came up, please email us your situation and we will do our best to accommodate you!
HOW DO I ADD OR CHANGE A RESERVATION FOR LIFT TICKETS, RENTAL GEAR, SIGHTSEEING, OR TUBING?
If you'd like to update your trip, please contact us at daytriptahoe@gmail.com to cancel or reschedule your ticket(s). We can accommodate these changes up until 8pm on the day before the trip as we need to send in a final head count for the tickets.
CAN I TAKE THE SKI BUS ONE WAY?
In short, yes. However, the price will remain the same for the round-trip ticket. Please email us ahead of time so that we are not looking for you at the end of the day. If you want to come back the following week, you will also have to purchase a roundtrip ticket for your returning day.

CAN I GET MY RENTAL GEAR PRE-LOADED ONTO THE BUS?
Yes! In your email confirmation, there will be a section (after the waiver) to have your gear picked up ahead of time. If you want to have your gear picked up ahead of time or dropped off after, please fill out this section. You will receive an email with your exact times within one business day. If you have a specific preferred time, please let us know in the form.
This service is loosely restricted to the city of Berkeley. After the excursion, you can choose to take your gear or we can drop it off the next day (Sunday).
WHAT TIME WILL WE ARRIVE AT PALISADES TAHOE?
With no traffic or weather conditions it takes 3 hours and 30 minutes to get to Palisades Tahoe from Berkeley.
WHERE CAN I PARK WHEN I TAKE THE SKI BUS?
Here is a list of the parking structures closest to Caffe Strada (our departure location) from nearest to furthest:
- Bancroft Parking Structure: 2643 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94704

HOW DO I BOOK A PRIVATE BUS FOR MY CLUB, COMPANY, SCHOOL, CHURCH, ORGANIZATION, ETC?

DOES THE SKI BUS HAVE BATHROOMS?
Yep! All of our ski buses come equipped with bathrooms.
DOES THE SKI BUS HAVE WIFI?
Unfortunately, we do not have Wifi at this time. However, our buses do come equipped with electrical charging outlets! If you need Wifi, we recommend using your phone as a personal hotspot. If you do not have access to a personal hotspot, please talk to your guide and they will provide a connection for you!
ARE LIFT TICKETS INCLUDED?
Lift tickets for Palisades Tahoe are NOT included, but we offer an exclusive $50 discount when you book your ride with us.
IS THERE AN AGE-RESTRICTION?
Yes, at this time, we are only servicing those 18 years and older. If you are in college and are under 18, please email us at daytriptahoe@gmail.com to discuss your situation.
WHAT IF THE BUS IS FULL?
If the date that you are interested in is full, us at daytriptahoe@gmail.com to be put on our waitlist. If spaces open up, you will be sent a direct message. Waitlist spots are first come, first serve, so register as soon as you can!
IS THERE A CUTOFF TIME TO BOOK MY SEAT?
Registration closes at 8 pm the day prior to the trip. There are no refunds given to cancellations made within 48 hours of the purchased trip. However, you can move the date of your trip at no extra cost! If you have something come up, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
The safety of our ski bus passengers is our top priority. We will run the bus rain or shine, but if weather conditions don't allow for a safe drive both to and from the mountain, the trip will be cancelled. You'll be given the option of receiving a full refund or rescheduling your trip to a later date. Check current Tahoe weather and road conditions (live HWY 80 camera map).
