Go through our checklist while packing to make sure you have everything you need!

  • Warm layers: fleece, down jacket, thermals, sweats
  • (Merino) Wool base layers (top and bottom)
  • Beanie or Warm hat
  • Gloves or Mittens
  • Wallet
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks
  • Headphones / Earpods
  • Entertainment for the bus rides
  • Optional: Portable Charger

If Tubing or Sightseeing:

  • Snow Pants and Jacket (waterproof)
  • Ski Gloves
  • Snow Socks
  • Face Mask / Balaclava mask (a shiesty)
  • Optional: Helmet (tubing)

If Skiing or Snowboarding

  • Skis & poles or Snowboards (unless renting)
  • Ski or Snowboard Boots (unless renting)
  • Snow Pants and Jacket (waterproof)
  • Helmet
  • Goggles
  • Ski Gloves
  • Snow Socks
  • Face Mask / Balaclava mask (a shiesty)
  • Guards/Pads (Wrist, Knee, Butt, Elbow)... More relevant for snowboarders
  • Cloth to wipe goggles
  • Optional: Boot Bag
  • Optional: Ski or Snowboard Bag
  • Optional: After Ski/Board Shoes

First-Timers (Substitutes if you do not have snow gear):

Sunny Day

  • 1 Underlayer
    Upper: Wear a long-sleeve, thermals, or an athletic long-sleeve shirt
    Lower: Wear tights, thermals, or sweats
    Wear clothes that are breathable and stretchy
  • Layer of Normal Clothes
    Upper: Wear a normal long-sleeve or sweatshirt
    Lower: Wear thicker pants that you can still move freely in
  • Outer Layers
    Upper: Wear anything water-proof or water-resistant. If you do not have that, put on a sweatshirt or sweater
    Lower: Wear anything water-proof or water-resistant. If you do not have that, jeans or cargo pants will do

Cloudy, Cold Day

  • 2 Underlayers
    Upper: Wear a long-sleeve, thermals, or an athletic long-sleeve shirt
    Lower: Wear tights, thermals, or sweats
    Wear clothes that are breathable and stretchy
  • Layer of Normal Clothes (1-2 Layers)
    Upper: Wear a normal long-sleeve or sweatshirt
    Lower: Wear thicker pants that you can still move freely in
  • Outer Layers
    Upper: Wear anything water-proof or water-resistant. If you do not have that, put on a sweatshirt or sweater
    Lower: Wear anything water-proof or water-resistant. If you do not have that, jeans or cargo pants will do

Regardless of Weather:

  • Rent, borrow, or buy a helmet
  • Goggles (or Sunglasses if you have to)
  • Borrow or buy Gloves/Mittens
  • Thick Socks
  • Face Mask / Balaclava mask (a shiesty) or Scarf
  • Guards/Pads (Wrist, Knee, Butt, Elbow)... More relevant for snowboarders
  • Cloth to wipe goggles
  • Optional: After Ski/Board Shoes

*Bring an extra pair of pants and a shirt in case you get cold

If you don't have any of these, don't worry! You can look at the substitues above or purchase any of these (especially goggles) at the Village once we get up there. Also, these items are listed from top to bottom from greatest to least importance, so prioritize those at the top.

*Bring a change of clothes in case your clothes get wet so you can be comfortable on the ride back!
